Gynecology
Gynecology, also known as women's medicine, is the medical specialty for the health of the female reproductive organs. It includes the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes, vagina, and vulva. This includes, among others, endometriosis, fibroids, polyps, urinary incontinence, as well as symptoms related to menopause.
Gynecologists accompany women in all phases of life and use different conservative, minimally invasive, or surgical treatment methods depending on the condition. Modern laser systems allow for particularly precise and tissue-sparing treatment in many areas.
