In our Vein Center at Nikolaistr. 55 (Leipzig City Center), patients with venous system diseases (varicose veins, spider veins, thromboses) are treated interdisciplinary. Under the roof of the Vein Center at Brühl, doctors from the fields of Phlebology (vein medicine), Dermatology/Dermatosurgery, Internal Medicine/General Medicine cooperate. The Vein Center at Brühl is a reference center for endoluminal laser therapy and radio wave therapy as a minimally invasive alternative to traditional stripping surgery. Both methods were co-introduced by us in Germany in the early 2000s. Through our participation in mostly international studies, we contributed to scientific acceptance, medical approval, and subsequent optimization of the procedures. Another focus of our practice is modern sclerotherapy techniques, such as Veinlite- and ultrasound-assisted foam sclerotherapy. In our regular specialist seminars, we share our knowledge and experience with interested colleagues. The Vein Center at Brühl is certified by the German Society for Phlebology as a "Vein Competence Center" and according to the new quality standard "Vein Competence Center plus." Our high hygiene standards and practice processes are implemented in the ISO certification by TÜV-Süd and in PhleboQM. A focus of the Vein Center at Brühl in Leipzig is gentle treatment methods for venous diseases or varicose veins, particularly endoluminal laser therapy (ELvES) or radio wave therapy (ClosureFast).
